Popcorn Park Zoo

Monica

Popcorn Park was founded in 1977, with the sole purpose of providing a home for animals who were elderly, ill, abandoned, mistreated, or injured, and that could no longer survive in the wild. Some time later, it was expanded to also house exotic and domesticated animals. Today, more than 200 of these animals live in roomy habitats in the heart of the Pine Barrens in southern New Jersey. The zoo’s many attractions include a powerful African elephant, beautiful tigers, lions, bears, monkeys, barnyard animals, and reptiles! What makes this zoo so unique is that each animal has its own special story, all of which lead to a happy ending.
