The North Eastern Wisconsin (NEW) zoo stretches over more than 1560 acres of recreational space. The picnic areas, trout ponds, and animal habitats provide fun and enjoyment for the whole family. Visit the observation tower to look out over many of the enclosures and lush habitats. Playground areas, grills, volleyball fields, and more lie protected under shady pine trees. In winter, the zoo also has skiing and snowshoeing. Carriages are available most weekends in the summer, and for special winter events.
